PREVENTION IS THE ANSWER: THE ONE VOICE FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION IN NORTH CAROLINA

What is a CPR?

Created by the North Carolina Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services Office of Prevention, a Center for Prevention Resources (CPR) is a regional vehicle for building substance abuse prevention service delivery capacity among local providers.

The primary purpose of each CPR is to facilitate capacity building and provide technical assistance resources for area local management entities (LMEs), providers and communities. Four CPRs have been established to serve as models of accountability, capacity and effectiveness.
