PREVENTION IS THE ANSWER: THE ONE VOICE FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION IN NORTH CAROLINA

PSAs Designed to Raise Awareness About FASD Prevention

Posted: September 14th, 2012

September 9th was recognized as FASD Awareness Day in North Carolina, but for the parents of children who have a brain based disability due to alcohol exposure during pregnancy…EVERY DAY is FASD Awareness Day!

These PSAs are being promoted across the state in an effort to reduce the number of children and families who are affected by FASD. Please help spread the word and share…”If you drink, don’t get pregnant. If you’re pregnant, don’t drink.” For more information visit ncpregnancy.org or call 1-800-532-6302.

“When a pregnant woman drinks, she NEVER drinks alone! FASD is 100% preventable.”
