This presentation will provide Addiction Professionals with current information on HIV testing, treatments and long-term prognosis. Participants will explore causes of client resistance to testing and develop strategies to motivate to be tested for HIV. Ways of incorporating HIV Risk Reduction strategies into treatment and increasing medication adherence will also be discussed. (3 NCSAPPB credits)
