PREVENTION IS THE ANSWER: THE ONE VOICE FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION IN NORTH CAROLINA

CADCA’s 2012 GOT OUTCOMES! Coalition of Excellence Awards

Posted: April 23rd, 2012

CADCA is currently accepting Phase I applications for the GOT OUTCOMES! Coalition of Excellence Awards. Applications are due to CADCA on Friday, May 25, 2012. Coalitions are strongly encouraged to contact CADCA to begin receiving technical assistance for the application.

The prestigious GOT OUTCOMES! Coalition of Excellence Awards are sponsored by CADCA’s National Coalition Institute with the goal of recognizing coalitions that achieve measurable success in community-level substance abuse and/or substance-related outcomes by implementing a comprehensive and feasible plan guided by local data that includes program, practice and policy changes. While the ultimate goal for applicants is to win a GOT OUTCOMES! award, coalitions experience numerous benefits as a result of going through the application process. The unique two-phase process offers multiple opportunities to connect with CADCA for feedback and technical assistance around logic modeling, identifying measurable outcomes, data presentation and more. This experience helps coalitions fine-tune their ability to communicate their outcomes to a variety of stakeholders and effectively translate their message into different formats (grants, presentations, etc.)
