The Division of Public Health Injury and Violence Prevention Branch is funding a professional development event in suicide intervention for mental health professionals, their community partners, and substance abuse prevention providers. The ASIST workshop is for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable, confident, and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Worldwide, over one million caregivers have participated in this two-‐day, highly interactive, practical, practice-‐oriented workshop.

The grant will provide: training, materials, breakfast, lunch, snacks (NO dinners), travel reimbursement if you live more than 20 miles away and two nights of hotel if you live more than 60 miles away. (See flyers for more details.)
