North Carolina Coalition Initiative Funding Opportunity

The NCCI program seeks to support coalitions in building capacity and implementing effective evidence-based and promising strategies, including environmental strategies, to promote substance-free communities. Year one of this grant program is designed to provide communities with intensive training and technical assistance to help them build their capacity to tackle the challenging issues they face related to substance use and abuse. Year two is intended to facilitate implementation of the plans develop in Year one. We are pleased to announce that funds will be made available (up to $30,000 per site in the first year) for up to 8 substance abuse prevention coalitions in North Carolina to strengthen their capacity to implement environmental strategies.
