Presentation Description: The rise of new HIV and AIDS cases is growing fast in southern states. With the rapid growth of new HIV/AIDS cases, substance abuse professionals and other providers need to consider the physical, emotional and mental effects an HIV, AIDS or STD diagnosis has on a client who abuses substances. During this webinar, participants will learn the current data on HIV/AIDS cases; understand the emotional impact of an HIV/AIDS diagnosis; and learn the treatment options that are available for people with HIV/AIDS.
